My favorite items I've found are all made with howlite beads. Howlite is a white stone with lots of small veins, which give a 'shattered' effect. It is very versatile and can be dyed any colour, therefore becoming a popular fashion item to buy both online and in stores. Which brings me to the question... Should I buy from a well known website such as Asos, or from wholesalers on eBay?
The Pros of buying from Asos (or any other Online Retail Store):
- You can trust the company.
- Many different payment methods.
- May have free shipping.
- Online delivery updates - know exactly when your item will arive.
- May have local returns - returning item becomes cheaper and quicker.
The Cons:
- Items are more expensive.
- Don't get much for what you pay for.
- Shipping could be more expensive when purchasing large bulky items.
- Shipping could be more expensive if you live outside of major cities.
- Extremely cheap.
- Many options as to who you buy from.
- Get more for your money when buying in bulk.
- Shipping is often cheap on small items.
The Cons:
- Minimal payment methods - often restricted to paypal.
- Can be a hassle if trying to track down seller in case of inquiries of returns.
- May take longer for shipping depending on where the item is from.
So as you can see, there are many pros and cons for each method of purchasing products. Personally I would rather pay $10 for 99 Skull Beads from eBay, than $15 for 3 beads on a string from Asos. In the end it really boils down to weather you prefer cheap costs or secure customer service.
I hope this helped give you my perspective on online shopping. Be sure to comment, follow, and subscribe to my YouTube channel.
